Does anyone else talk to their ponies?

Today I found myself having a conversation with Lily Lightly and explaining to her how I'm going to clean her up and style her mane and tail.  I quite often talk to my ponies as I'm cleaning or rearranging them on the shelves, and sometimes I say hi to them when I come into the room and see them looking at me.

Does anyone else do things like this, or have I been spending way too much time around ponies lately?

I do this too  But I talk to my toys pretty frequently, not just my ponies.

If I'm cleaning them up I start explaining what I'm doing and sometimes when I'm looking over my collection I'll just say "How are my girls doing today?"

I talk to all my toys!

When I'm cleaning ponies, I'll say 'Ok, now I'm just going to brush your hair' and 'Ok, now it's your turn!' etc....
I'll also apologize if I accidentally knock them over!

I find in general that if it's got eyes, I'll talk to it!

Mainly just apologizing when I knock them over or drop them in the sink...

I also talk to my ponies when I am with them , comb their hair etc etc

Yes I do this! I tell them how beautiful they all are!

I also talk to my girls, say hello when i walk into my room, excuse myself when i knock them over, explain to them what i'm going to do when i brush them or rearrange my shelves, say welcome to the new ponies when i recieve them or tell them that  they are beautiful when i'm looking long enough at my shelves.It's cool to see i'm not the only crazy person to do it.

My ponies, my dolls, my plush owls, my plants...had a long conversation with a MH doll last night about what needed to be done with her hair...Sometimes I even talk to them in Japanese...

Well, it's good practice? xD.

Yeah I found myself doing the same thing. I think its inherit because my daughter does too.

I'll talk to anything and everything... probably an extension of my habit of talking to myself

It's mostly things like explaining what I'm doing during pony restoration jobs and "you okay there pal" if a pony falls off the shelf

All the time. Of course, I talk to pretty much everything, and animals. It's just people who shut me up. We even named all the dog's toys.

In the morning I ask how they (the ponies) are doing and did they sleep well. Who would like a spa treatment or needs rearranged today. They say you're only crazy if they talk back.
