A neat Goodwill find!

While running errands today with my family, I suggested stopping at a Goodwill since my sister was looking for inexpensive silverware and we find some nice stuff there occassionally (although, if im being honest with myself, my ulterior motive was pony hunting ).

As I was digging around in the toy section, this little bag caught my eye.

If I see anything that looks even vaguely pony-sized, I give it a once-over. Turns out this one is actually a my little pony g4 train set! It had no price tag on it, though. I asked an employee to price it for me and came back with a sticker saying 1.99 USD! Even though there's some track pieces missing, it's one heck of a deal.

The train still works, too! Hooray! I posed some of my newest additions on it

I found this at a flea market, it had a third car too. The battery compartment is corroded so I need to clean it.

ahh, i was actually worried about that. there was a battery still in mine that leaked a bit but it was ok still. I wish you the best of luck!
Also, I thought I should share this--I thought it was broken when I first replaced the batteries and switched it on until I realized the little yellow chimney works as an on/off switch too....so I was practically ripping the thing apart because I kept hitting it by mistake

What a cute lil find! I often see those pink trains in the thrifts around here but it's rare to see the train tracks and other cars together with it! And that was a steal of a price! Congrats!
