Oh my gosh. Celestia and Nightmare Moon look amazing. And angry. And the sculpts are stunning. I've always wanted a Celestia in some sort of action pose... what a beauty! Hope they look as good when produced

New photo of Discord for the Guardians of Harmony line! I have to admit he's lookin' pretty cool... But I'm not sure if you can take him out of the chair and take the accessories out of his hands? I mean, I think there's a difference between a toy you can play with and a figure molded to a base that is pretty much just supposed to be collected and displayed....

I mean, I think there's a difference between a toy you can play with and a figure molded to a base that is pretty much just supposed to be collected and displayed....

I somehow missed this thread entirely. These are pretty neat. I hate reissues, but these may be worth getting. I'm really impressed and looking forward to this line. My paycheck however, is not looking forward to this. And I'm rapidly running out of room. I couldn't even find a spot for ONE pony last night. Oh dear.

Yeah, I think he's a collectible figure aimed at older kids and collectors.  (Some kids wouldn't want a figure you can't "play" with, but when I was a kid I had some decorative figures I couldn't play with . . . Ceramic and glassblown figures, mostly unicorns.  I still liked them as decor.)

Actually the Celestia and Nightmare Moon do have some jointing and if you look carefully he looks like his shoulders have joints.

He's part of the "Fan Series" of the GoH line which are more targeted at adult collectors. This can explain the lack of some articulation features,
