pose dislikes?
I don't like collector, firefly, or poses that have a hard time standing like speedy' s and sweet tooths pose. For G3 I don't like the open mouth, diva, donkey, or Pegasus poses.

Pose likes?
Bow tie pose, crumpets, and gusty's poses are my favorite. I like shy poses. G3 gem blossom, rarity, and valenshy.

Baits:
For G3 I like most except the Broken Neck pose and the Donkey pose.
For G1 I do not like Collector,  Moondacer, Glory, Firefly poses or any of the flutters.

As far as alteration goes, whatever fits with what you choose to do.  Can either still look like a pony or be very drastic, your call.

I'm going to say ok for added accessories (if they fit the pony you are making) but no to twinkle eyes and feathers.

Not sure if I understand this question either. 

Would you like clothes to be molded or removable(fabric)?
Doesn't matter, but I'd rather fabric be permanent if you go that route.

Hair or not hair?
Depends on what you choose - should be pretty clear from my list what would or wouldn't call for brushable hair.

Other materials for the mane or tail?
Whatever works with your vision ^^

I like mine to stay a pony if my partner would not mind. Repose or alt would be nice or different for a change. I dont think I have any custom ponies like that in my herd.

I do like the masculine ponies ( Big Bros and Gingerbread) but I like Pony Bride a good bit as well.

Repose and alterations are OK. The faint glimmer of a pony is all that I need to keep. A brushable mane or tail would be nice though.

Poses dislike: In g1 all, for customs I prefer the other generations.
In g3 I don't like the donkey pose.

Poses like: in g3 all, I love the ponies with the open mouth, but not the donkey pose. Too the elegant poses like rarity, fun fair, diva pose, meadowbrook pose, etc.
Too I love the g3.5 pose (in my character list, the second character is perfect in a g3.5 body, cof, cof) , but not the sweetie belle pose.
In g2 all.

Ressemble pony: only if you like or is necessary.

Accesories: I love the accesories, I love the miniatures, but please, I don't like the real feathers.

Pose dislikes:
Like many others, Not a fan of g3 donkey pose or broken neck pose
I don't like g1 glory, Moondancer, or sprinkles poses.
Pose Likes: I like g1 Powders pose and Crumpets pose but I don't mind the other poses not listed in my dislikes.
Same with G3.

Alterations/Repose are OK, would still like it to resemble a pony, just a little. Lol.
Boa Feathers: Not a Fan unless it was absolutely necessary. Twinkles Eyes: I'm OK with

g1- not a fan of the collector pose, and the diva pose is def not on my favorites list. but if you can make it work for the custom and rock the pose. ok cool.

g1 shy pose. well anything that looks natural, if left looking as a pony. but if you need to match attitude etc i'm open

go for it. you can use the pony as a sculpting base if you like. pony, semi pony, or no pony present is ok with me. (doesn't even need to be brushable anymore if you don't want)

hmmm. well real feathers will attract the attention of the little bootle i have at home (puppy) she can't reach them, but she stares at them and it makes me nervous.
all in all, do what every you need to do to get the character to look like what you want them to look like. well unless there is blood. please don't use any real stuff of that.

yes and no, they were listed in the order i thought of them. so maybe that speaks volumes, but i do love the idea of everything i put on my list.

each one has it's merits. very curious to see what you do.

I'll eventually move all these answers into one post for you but for now:

Repose/alteration: go to town.
Want it to still look like a pony: i like it to still have a splash of pony to it, but heavy sculpting is also fine, as long as it still has a little essence of pony to it. If that makes sense.

Boa feathers, twinkle eyes, accessories: im a little leery of boas, but if it works for the design give it a try. TE and accessories are fine =)

List in any order: not really, no.

Not sure if i fully grasp the cosplay/homage/transformation. Tho most of my list im pretty sure i hinted at which ideas would make better paintworks and which would be better AS the ideas. I trust your judgement, partner.

i've never had a pony with either. so i'm pretty open about this. if it's a pony where the cutie mark is important, try not to cover up with molded clothing so i can still enjoy it.

Yes, I think. Characters I most like from 1 to not as much but still interested. But really, I'll be happy with any of them.

I don't understand that... if my character list have a Altair, from Assasins Creed, I love the custom with all the clothes, accesories, etc, no only paint, I love the lovely sculpted.

Well, I prefer molded, but too the removable, only if the character require it.

I ever prefer the hair, but if the character have for example scales in his head, of course, without hair. Only if the character require it.
