Hair or no hair?
I would prefer hair but if the character or design would look better with molded or no hair that's fine.

Clothing: I don't mind molded or fabric but I do prefer fabric.
Pony Hair: I know one character I listed doesn't have hair (lol)
But on the others, molded or pony hair is fine

clothing: i prefer sculpted over fabric, minor details in cloth is fine, like a cloak etc tho.
hair: i love brushable hair, but i also like sculpted, and no need to force hair into it if the design doesnt call for it. So im with Okami on this one. no need to put a mane on a dragon. Do what you feel is best, partner. =]

I prefer a mane or a tail I can brush but looking at my choices that may not fit on a couple of them.    Do whatever it takes to make it look good.

Do you want your custom to still resemble a pony?  Is a repose or alteration ok?
If you are gonna say, sculpt an animal/creature...make it as much that creature as possible.  And if you are making say, an animal character/creature...I'd rather you stayed true to the that characters colors.  Yes, I was the little girl that colored her horses horse colors. X.x

Are boa feathers, twinkle eyes, added accessories ok?
Whatever you like and whatever makes it!  I will say I'm not someone that likes “gaudy”.  I cringe at metallic and shiny (unless of course it's a machine) and I don't tend to like hair clips, jewelry, etc. on ponies.  However, if the character calls for something, it's all good!  I probably wouldn't like the character if it was in the realm of gaudy and overdone!

Were items listed in any order on your list?
Hrm...they kind of were.  The top 2-3 are definite favorites.  I added the last two to give you more choices.  Don't get me wrong, I still like them and would be happy with something from those two!

If there are specific characters listed, do you prefer transformation, cosplay or homage?
Okay, feeling rather dumb...but I'm not sure I fully understand the breakdown of the definitions.  But...I think all would be fine!

If clothing is necessary, would you prefer it to be molded or removable (fabric)?
I like both, with a little preference for sculpted.

I do tend to prefer hair.  That being said, if you sculpt an animal...uh, tigers don't have long flowing manes!

no hair on the pony is fine. please feel free to make it a pony or to use the body of a pony as a base and totally redesign it.

i'm still completely floundering on what to do yet. it almost feels like there are too many options....
just need to sit down and figure some things out. etc vision vs skill.

i love brushed yarn hair, but i know there is a time and place for it. so i'm open to other materials. no feathers please, and no embroidery thread by itself. it's its used as a braid or something. understandable. etc

Non DH hair: if its absolutely necessary go ahead but in general i do prefer regular hair. But if its a better match to the character or an effect go ahead. =)

I'm cool with it. I prefer doll hair but brushed yarn is cool. Even fuzzy pipe cleaners or embroidery thread is cool in some cases.

Sorry for my absence! Normally I am super good at replying in threads, but my computer finally gave out. My new one should be here Saturday, and once I get it set up,  it will be a lot easier to make posts on. Right now I have to use my mobile, and it is a bit difficult. Excited to get inspired and answer questions!

I would rather it still *somewhat* resembled a pony, but if that's not gonna work with whatever idea your trying to work out, it's fine otherwise. Reposes/other alterations are ok.

Whatever you think it needs to be awesome! The only thing I'm really against is excessive glitter, as it flakes & gets all over.

Either/or. If you decide to do fabric, it doesn't even have to be removable.

As far as extras go: I like candy(gummies or mint), tea, and stickers, pens, not pads or anything along those lines
