I just went shopping and checked Target on a whim and look who I found! I screamed and swore in the toy aisle, I was so excited

I hadn't seen news of these anywhere yet, is Australia the first to get them? I'm glad these have finally released.
Rainbow Dash appears to be a strange dusty blue.

Oh wow, haven't seen pictures of those two outside of the Toy Fair from last year! I doubt we'll see them in the US, but I kinda want them (mostly due to my compulsion to have all FS ponies, even multiple versions of the same pony).

They look nice...but I prefer real clothes instead of molded plastic clothes.....

I am not a fan of plastic clothes either to be honest. I think I find it especially disappointing as G4 did try for fabric clothes at the start of the line before this move.

However, I do think its great these girls have finally shown up! I do think they will miss a lot of places due to being such a late wave. But its great that they are somewhere and people will have a chance to pick them up.

I think these girls will be very short lived in Australia like most Fashion Styles, so I bought spares while I could to debox. Rarity is very nice quality, Rainbow is not. Her blue is dull, and her plastic rough and squishy in a fakie way... And then I noticed something that made my jaw drop...

Her hoof says Made in India, so does Rarity! Are these the first G4 to be made anywhere other than China?!

I agree.  I'd much rather have fabric clothes.  The molded details on these pretty good though so I think with a little more painted detail they could be made to look really nice.  If I see them in my area I'll definitely snag one to spruce up but I won't go out of my way to buy them online.

If they moved production to India that would explain why lately there haven't been any taobao leaks. I wonder if there is an Indian site like taobao.

Maybe we need to keep an eye out for later lines to see if any have that same hoof marking.. It could have been just these girls and it could have been just some of the lines that may never make it to the US? Time will tell..
