Are there any ponies or gens you are NOT interested in collecting?

I've been reading around today and realized I have no interest at all in ever owning any mib/moc ponies. I want to be able to hold and "play" with my ponies. If I ever came across them super cheap I'd have to try to find a mib/moc collector to sell them to or I'd be tempted to open them. 

I also don't have any interest in any generations beyond G1, but I do buy G3 and G4 for my kids. I'd pick up any G2 I hypothetically find in the wild for my sister, too. For me, though? G1 all the way.

I don't collect G2, 3, 3.5 or 4 though I have some from most of those. Just don't consider them my collection, and some I'm downsizing now I've got over the "must have every pony from every gen ever made" obsession.

I don't collect US style packaged MIB ponies if a UK version exists, unless the UK version is impossible to get or the US version is the same. I do love MIP ponies but I am quite picky about which - I try to collect the earlier ones and not so much the later ones except for special ones.

I don't collect plush any more, though sister refuses to let me sell the G1 ones in the attic, so i might just give them to her to deal with xD.

I don't look for Petites, just keep ones that happen to turn up in lots that I don't have. Ditto charms.

I don't collect ceramic G1. I have 2, but I'm not interested in any others.

I don't collect merchandise any more. I've sold a lot, and kept mostly stuff from my childhood or that has special meaning. We still have quite a lot of stuff, actually, but compared to before...*shrug*.

G1 is my collection though, and all the ponies that are part of G1, I collect.

I'm the same way, Emerald.. with the exception of the kids / sister part because I don't have either but yeah, I would want to open any MOC ponies..hah, my will power is not strong enough to leave them alone!

My childhood Napper is a great example.. I found her at a "mom and pop" discount store (much like Big Lots, etc.) in the early '90s. I brought her home thinking, I'm going to leave her MOC, yay!.. I don't think she lasted but two days on that card.  I remember debating it with my mom, who was like, if you want to play with her, go ahead! Haha.. Now I kinda wish I left her MOC. I heard she is htf that way..

Occasionally a G3 will catch my attention with her color scheme or personality, but for the most part, anything before G4 I just skip over.

I pretty much don't collect MOC and that's it.  I got a G3.5 Ponyville set once and just couldn't resist opening it...  It's not very sought after at least, but I still feel a bit guilty.

So far, I have no G2 or G3.5 ponies. I also try not to collect MIB G1s, because I know there are others out there who would appreciate them more than I do.

I don't collect MOC ponies either; they just ain't my proverbial bag. I don't do G4s either and I'm erring towards not collecting G2s & 3s anymore because I blow hot and cold on them a lot. G1s are safe territory, though; they always make me happy!

3.5s mostly.  Any 3.5s that come my way I pass on.  I don't actively collect g2s or nirvanas, but I keep any I find.

G3.5 I suppose? I have some G3 but I'm not looking to get more.

G1 and G2 are my main collections Although G4 is starting to get close (with one new brushable each season yahoo...)

I do own 2 G1s but I got one when I was born and bought one baby to join him.
Besides that I will never buy a G1 again, unless I find one in the wild maybe..

My main focus at moment are G1s. They are my love!! But maybe, in the future, I'll get some G3 and G2. I'm totally out of G4.

Same here! I don't like MIB and MOC too because I love touch them, kiss them, take photos, take them with me!

Well theres G2s I just never really got into them.
I dont like G3.5s.
But I do have one of each to be a representative of my all Gen herd.

The only Gen I actively collect is G1.  G2, G3 will be bought second hand if I happen to stumble across them at a cheap price, but I don't go out of my way to find them.  G3.5 is creepy and just no.  G4, only if they're a dollar or less and I don't have them.  Don't like G4's, too boring and poor quality.
