MLP Cafe in Japan

I mean, everybody opening a restaurant/ cafe could use any characters and promote their business with them.

Why wouldn't it be legal? As long as they got permission to do so from Hasbro. I mean in Japan, Sanrio gives cafes permission to use Hello Kitty all the time. The cafes probably have to pay to get permission of course.

On the bright side, I can save money and just eat lunch in my bedroom; a lot cheaper than flying to japan

That cafe is adorable!  They should take it a step further and display some ponies just like some of the doll cafes they have!  Imagine, eating and playing with ponies too!

And as long as they have permission, think of all of the free publicity for Hasbro.  Even if it is mostly g1, it will still drive more people to mlp as a brand.

Me to, but I would be happy with one thing that has Starshine on it. Why is ALL the Starshine merchandise in other countries? UK, NZ and now Japan. Not fair!

There's been starshine stuff in the USA.. But I think it's been mostly baby stuff (hooded towel, wash cloths , romper.. socks)
