My first g1 ponies!

I went to a small fleamarket last Sunday and I found my first g1 ponies!

First I found a twice as fancy pony, Bonnie Bonnets. I lover her symbols, and her white hair+bonnets makes me think of a little old lady.

I also found a Sparkler! The pink in her hair isn't faded at all and her glitter symbols are in perfect condition! Unfortunately she's got tail rust, and mildew along her neck near her mane. I haven't cleaned her yet, i'm still working out a battle strategy.

I also found two g3s, Royal Rose and Fluttershy. This is the first g3 Fluttershy i've seen who's mane wasn't totally faded. Neither one of them really needed much cleaning, so I just gave them a quick scrub with a tooth brush and washed their hair.

Congrats and Bonnie Bonnets reminds me of an old lady too. I love your Royal Rose and Fluttershy is super cute

Lol, I never thought about Bonnie Bonnets as an old lady but now that you have mentioned it I can't get the image out of my head.  :)

Congrats! Bonnie Bonnets is a tough one to find. And it looks like her hair is amazing!

As for Sparkler... You're going to want to very carefully remove her head with a blade along the neckline to break the bond of the glue (but not too far, or you'll cut right through the plug shape that keeps the head on). Then you'll want to pull the tail out, replace the washer. I wash the tail's base with soft scrub w/bleach to get the rust out. Sounds like she'll be full of mold, so you'll want to scrub out her body with the soft scrub (toothbrush), too!
