Great job!  I've sunfaded ponies from fall right through spring no problem, hopefully they're done well before that. :p

So, back in October I though it would only be like another two weeks or so. Turned out, I wasn't completely happy for another 6 months  ^^;

I'm still not quite happy with the Birthday Pony, so she's still in the window. But I'm now fully finished with Starligh and with Mommy Apple Delight.

Let me just say, the craft paint I choose not a picnic to remove! But here's Starlight at least (haven't gotten around to remove the paint from Mommy yet):

This poor girl. Ink eyeshadow and her mane was in serveral tiny braids. Also some surface dirt.

I've been sunfading her from july-15 until april-16 and yesterday I took a straightener through her mane and tail.

Maybe there's still a faint hint of ink, I'm not sure, could be because I know it was there.

I'm very happy with this transformation though! :heart:

Thank you so much daffodil101 :heart:

It was my first time sunfading, but it wasn't hard at all just time consuming!

You can do it!

Beautiful work! Starlight looks wonderful!

For the craft paint, I wrap the pony in plastic wrap first and then paint the craft paint over the eyes/symbols. That way its easier to remove later. The sun still fades the ink just as well.

Gorgeous! :D

What paint did you use to cover up the eyes / symbols?

I have a G1 Sugarberry that wouldn't hurt getting some sun but I've never sunfaded ponies before so needing some input :)
