Hi everyone. I am the very proud Father (ponypoppy) of "ponyqueen", She of recent fame as the Featured Artist at the Chicago MLP Fair. I have been Buying ponies since the early 80s for my girls. In the 2000s,  I learned that my girls had become avid and highy skilled pony collectors. As we scoured Flea mkts and Garage sales for evermore elusive treasures, I was indoctrinated with that most valuable Mantra: "Hasbro's the way to go."
I have only recently become aware of how vast MLPs have spread. Picture a 60 year old man with eyes wide and jaw dropping in surprise. That's me.
I am very fortunate to own some of ponyqueen's early and even very early art work as well as some personal art. Never the less I was stunned in amazement at the quality and details of her pony paintings. I continue to stare at them and say "nobody can do that with water colors" but she does. And Magically wonderfully so. Thank you for letting me be here. Ponypoppy

It is great you are so supportive of your wife and daughter(s?)collecting.  I was collecting in the 80s but it wasn't until I found the online community that I realized how many ponies/merch was out there too.  I hope you enjoy the forums
