How do I fix Build a Bear pony hair?

I've been asking around about this for a while but can't seem to find a solution that works. Some of my BAB ponies have dry/frizzy hair. I want to defrizz them and get them as close as how they should be new. I've tried putting conditioner in them, using a blow dryer, and using diluted fabric softener, all of which are methods people have claimed to work, but I am not seeing any results from any of them.

Does anybody have any other ideas on how to fix their hair?

Following!  My Pinkie has a 'fro (though I have no intention of taming it) and Fluttershy's hair is braided.  I'm too scared to touch Celestia, so her hair is still rubber banded from the store.

I have an easy fix!! All of my ponies except  Pinkie Pie (who i left her natural curls lol) I used this Pantene conditioning spray and I gently brushed with a wide-tooth comb and started from the ends up. It makes their hair so shiny! :3 I need to take pictures of them soon!

Its a common subject now this one and unfortunately the truth remains that the hair used its prone to terrible tangling. If you dont play with, cuddle with or move from a position of display then they will be fine. But if they are fussed with it just gets troublesome. My honest advise is that when not on display put the hair in a pleat.

As for retaming your normal process but add in some baby oil to the shampoo mix. And skoosh the hair with kids detangler when you are brushing it after the washing. That should help.
