Toy Fair small MOC G1 pony brag :)

I've been to the toy fair twice this year, and these were there in April when I went with my best friend, but I didn't want to pay £60 each for them, so I left them then.

This morning when we went the guy selling them was there again, and they were still priced at £60. I asked him whether he would consider offers, and at first he wanted £100 for the two, but in the end I got the both of them for £80 (so £40 each). That's about $60 each, I think.

It's not *cheap* bargain prices, but I'm quite happy with it since I've seen MOC Baby Sea Ponies sell for $60ish on ebay, and they are in excellent condition, no discolouration or damage except minor wear around the card edges. Surf Rider has such beautiful pink hair and I don't have either of these two MOC because they're not versions sold in the UK. Their cards are Belgian/Dutch cards, but I think the card design is the same as in America?

For some fun reason, they have the wrong stickers. Surf Rider has Ripple's and Sunshower has Beachcomber's.

So that's my small pony brag for the day.

I also saw a Bow Tie (CP) loose but she was £7...so I left her. And the guy I got my ponies from had an Italian Lemon Drop and a minty HK Majesty and Spike with most DC accessories, but I dread to think how much they cost and I had no money left to ask.

I think it was the pink hair that won me over >< £80 was all I had in total, anyway, and when he said £100 I was only going to buy one (since he said he'd sell me one for £50). I was going to get Surf Rider and I was getting my money out when he asked me if I would do the two for £80. But it was Surf Rider I wanted most. I've always loved her as a sea pony and my loose pearly one has a serious frizz problem. This one is just too beautiful O.o.

I have never seen moc ponies at the toy fair before these, actually. Jem, yes, but only loose ponies. Unfortunately they have now made me want to collect moc baby sea ponies again...sigh...xd.
