PC for G3 playsets

I really want at least one G3 playset for when I get around to pony spa and photo days. I have a Pretty Parlor for my G1s, and my childhood Home Sweet Home as well.  For G3s I'm mostly interested in the surf shop and the Fashion Fun playset (I snagged the photos from the My Little Wiki):

I really like some of the accessories for the surf shop, but I'm mostly interested in just the shell for the Fashion Fun set. The Fashion Fun is the most equivalent set to the Pretty Parlor, I think.

Does anyone have a price check on these? I'd hate to buy one basically as soon as I see one in decent condition, if I can expect to see them at a better price.

G3 playsets are so common and not really worth more than $6-12 per set and also shipping is usually costly. If you just want the shell and don't mind the shipping costs you can probably get one for $5-7 maybe even less.

Thanks, partypony! I see the Surf Shop pop up a LOT on ebay, so I may get lucky there. Fashion Fun, I don't recall seeing before, so I may have to start advertising that I'm looking for it, lol

Maybe it's time to start going garage sale-ing again as well

The Fashion Fun studio wasn't released in the United States, so it probably won't be easy to get second-hand. There are a couple up on ebay.co.uk and ebay.de, but it's (predictably) expensive to ship even a smaller playset to the US. Maybe one of the European members here can help you out? Good luck!

BlushingBlue, that explains why I've never seen it! I wonder why it was never released in the US? It looks like a cute set! I like the little "stage" bit in the center, that's what makes me think of it as the G3 equivalent to the Pretty Parlor, lol. Thanks for letting me know it was an exclusive!

You should try a wanted post here on the Arena. As Party mentions the shells (and the playsets themselves) are normally a tough sell due to their size and shipping, do you may luck on to someone trying to sell one

I have the Surf Shop.  I see it NIB on eBay for $50-$60 usually.

lol oh!    i foudn that Fashion fun   set   in a  second hand store and had never seen it before and wasnt sure if it rally was  a  mlp playset so i let someone else    buy it.  it is really cute. 

oops though.. lol

My friend  has the  set   the fashion  fun one. just the shell.  i will see if she wnats to sell it.  i think its  worth  about 30.00

Oh G3 playsets...I had quite a few and couldn't give them away - literally!  I offered people to pay shipping only and it still was a no-go.  I think I ended up keeping all the accessories and taking the shells to the goodwill.  >.<  I did have the surf shop at one point - it really is a super cute set!  $60 MIB seems a little high for it honestly - I know it's an exclusive and all, but really I wouldn't put it beyond $45 MIB.  There are some past auctions @ $60 but it didn't sell.  Anyway - check craigslist!  That's a great place to snag older G3 sets.
