hey everyone! I posted an intro but it didn't go through so let's do this again, shall we?!
My name is Ashley and I am located in the Dirty South! I am 32 (33 next month, oh my!) and I am a leather worker and jewelry maker by trade, and an assistant manager at the local Tandy Leather by day! I mostly collect taxidermy, anatomical models, Victorian mourning jewelry, funeral items....just plain oddities in general! I am also heavily tattooed and generally have a dark appearance so it comes to be a bit of a surprise to most of my friends that I have a secret collection of MLP! I actually get picked on a bit
I have been collecting for 5-6 years now, and I get super happy when I see my ponies or ponies in general. I pretty much collect G1 exclusively since I have so much stuff! Art, ponies, weird stuff, books, make up, vinyl records.... oh my! I really look forward to continuing my collection, and making pony friends, and doing trades! I LOVE MAIL. So I hope to make some friends from all over and trade letters and fun stuff. :3

Hi! What a cool assortment of collections! If you want a pen pal, I love writing letters. I also have bajillions of address labels that will be unusable in a month when I move... so I need to start writing a lot of letters really soon.

When I have new friends come over they're usually really surprised by all of the ponies, too. I guess I don't really seem like a pony person externally? I certainly don't hide it, though.
