SDCC 2015 Exclusive - Online 28th July

Maybe it was a preview of a new set of the main 6 waring thier nightmare night costumes?

This costume is definitely a Nightmare Night costume, so a full set would be cool. If this is the exclusive, I'm happier knowing it's a Nightmare Night costume than just Pinkie Pie dressed up like a chicken.

And best of all, it's a real costume and not just molded plastic.

Assuming this is the exclusive, I'm actually not dissapointed.  The clothes are clothes not plastic.  They're pretty cute and she has hair.  The only thing I would say is it's a shame the actual pony isn't more special.  Bit as I keep them in the box that doesn't bother me too much.

WAIT..... I was just on MLP's FB page (you dont have to have a fb account to view) and I saw they said they were doing 'so many things this year' with a.picture of the mane 6 in costumes. WHAT IF ITS A FASHION STYLE COSTUME SET [content edit ~ hathorcat] !?? They DIDNT show Pinkie Pie in a box after all!!!! :-D

Refusing to believe that is this years exclusive.  Doesn't make sense. That's a costume from an episode LOOOOOOBG ago. Seems like a joke to me. I'd think the exclusive would be a newer character or something along those lines. This makes no sense.

Okay, well, it's Pinkie Pie.

But that is the best quality pony wear I've seen out of G4 to date.  It's adorable.

(Still disappointed it's Pinkie Pie, though.)

Edit:  If they're selling the outfits without ponies, like G1 pony wear was, that would be great.  I guess we'll see!

At first I was like "NO WAY! First Fair pony I don't want!"  But now I have come around and if she truly is the exclusive, I realize I would want her.  The outfit is actually pretty nice looking at it- and pretty unusual, and of course I actually do love chickens

The fact that the pony exclusive is $50 though- makes me think there is a SET involved!

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking this as well... Especially since they had that picture with all of them dressed up.

Guys.... its GOT to be a FS clothing set!! I dont think we will be getting any FS ponies, just costumes. IMO its awesome but I  dont think this is really SDCC worthy, maybe as like Toys R Us exclusive fashion packs. I cannot wait to see that Star Swirl outfit.

Well the Fair pony was $50 so I'm sure that it is a $50 pony since they share with SDCC.

I am wondering though if the Pinkie might be a special TRU exclusive maybe?  It would be really cool if TRU did an entire line of really well made costumes for the ponies.  However, to date, the costumes have really been so cheap and simple- so that is what makes me think this must be a SDCC pony of some sort...

Guess we'll find out soon!   SO weird that they put it up and took it off the Hasbro MLP facebook page...

I think that picture was a pinkie pie FS 'modeling one of the costumes' they will be selling at SDCC. Im sure a Rarity, RD, AJ, and all the others modeling their outfits will be leaked and then taken down.

I think for NOW they will be teasing pictures of the ponies modeling and taking them down super fast. Then when its time for the fair next friday, the mane 6 costumes would be officially announced. Or watch, they will announce today everything at once and the pinkie pie post was an accident while they were editing their FB post xD

As far as the prices, my guess is that since the past 2 years were $50, it might be the same this year. However, they could either sell the costumes in a $30-$50ish set of all 6 or sell them individually for $10-15.

Well, 50$ is too expensive for only one pony and too cheap for a set of 6 fashion styles. 6 standart brushables for 50$ sounds about right.

Surely it's not going to be the six costumes in that teaser pic, since that's Applejack's Power Ponies outfit, which is already going to be at Target in both regular and fashion style sizes...
