Well, I guess I'd be excited about that if I collected the EqG dolls. Oooorrr they could be lumping ponies in with dolls now. Also, plural...so maybe more than one character will have an exclusive doll/pony this year?

I'm sure- just like last year where they had the Mane-iac as a pony/spike combo, and as a doll. 

Hasbro definitely treats the two like related but separate lines...

Could be a 2 pack of dolls (Maybe The Doctor and Muffin Pony) with the separate pony exclusive just being The Doctor because there already is a Muffin Pony.

I actually wouldnt mind a muffin pony equestria girl doll, but hmmmm I have a feeling it wont be her again. I hope they have a Fashion Style pony and that hasbro is saying "dolls" as in a pony and equestria girl doll. I dont know if I consider ponies dolls but oh well because they are probably going to announce something soon!!!!!!! if its multiple equestria girl dolls and no pony this year my wallet might be safe! this year but i want them to have a PONY mlp exclusive this year!!!!!

Yeah, I'm starting to think they're just saying dolls as a general term for dolls and ponies, which is a silly thing to get worked up about, but it kinda bothers me.

As much as I'd love a surprise, at least a little hint about the pony I'll be getting at the fair next week would be nice!

I guess because SDCC exclusive announcements can come as late as the 29th-  it could be that the Fair-goers will learn who the MLP exclusive is before anyone else!
