I've been stopping by to get a happy meal pretty much every day since the release of the toys (some are my moms too bc I talked her into getting them for the toys ) and literally I haven't had the first EQG Twilight
are other people having this problem or is my McD not wanting to give me my favorite g4 pony?

We've gotten two, but my daughter gifted the extra to her friend on the school bus. So we have them here in upstate new york

You could always just ask for the toy, then see if they'll specifically let you request a toy.  I did that last year when I went hunting for the toys and there was a manager that was nice enough to bring out one of each toy for me!  I hate their food, so it was perfect!

The one I work at lets you buy the toys separate, which is good.  The shipment of toys is very random where I work, sometimes we get two of the same boxes.  Sometimes you don't end up getting all the toys which are supposed to come out, meaning they don't ship it to us.  I get to put the toys in the boxes and later bags in the morning so I usually get first dibs but I had to wait a bit before some of the ponies were shipped to us.  I just wanted the ponies not the equestria girls.

Now we're down to using older toys and some transformers and very little my little pony as the new toys come out Friday so if you guys are looking for a certain toy you should try to get it.

McDonalds will also let you TRADE your toy for a diff one too. So try bringing one of your extras in and ask to trade for the one you want. Usually they will either look for you or bring the box over for you to look.

Also, in the future, most McDs get a box week 1 with ALL the toys in a set. Its used for setting up the display AND selling as a promo set. After week 1 those toys usually go into the bin for the happy meals. But this means you can go in week 1 and request a full set. And as previously stated you can buy just the toy.

Ugh...super disappointed.  I took my kiddles to lunch today to try and get a couple of MLP toys - they're out, and I got the new LPS instead.  *sigh*  Guess I'll try swapping at another McD's later.

I've had the opposite problem.  I have three extra EqG Twilights, and haven't gotten Pony or EqG Pinkie.

If shipping wasn't so much...we should do an online swap thread.  Or swap box.    Those are always fun!  Someone starts with a bunch of extras, mails it to one place and the person takes out a couple of ponies they need and put in the same number of extras they have.  Hrm...*thinks*  Might be a good idea!

Fluttershy the pony or the girl?  That's the only one I've actually managed to get (the pony) - mind you, I've been out of town the last week with a family emergency and totally missed that it was *last week* that they came out.

Just make sure you ask when it isnt a rush time (lunch time, when its really busy, ect.) and go inside the store (not drive-thru).

I am pretty sure my area has had all eight of the toys, but I know the Twilight wave didnt last for too long. One store got TS first, and another got AJ first during that initial week.

wow at that price, you are better off just buying the Happy Meal. xD

Our McDs sell the toys separately for $2.25. I always get 1 Happy Meal (for the box) but ask for an extra toy, so I can get both out that week (ours usually release 2 per week). Then each week afterwards we hit the store and just ask which MLP toys they have that week - if it's ones I need, we buy them. Sometimes with food, often no food just toys.
