Any Banjo Kazooie fans?

I love Banjo Kazooie almost like I love My Little Pony. A couple years back I dressed up as Banjo for my college town's Halloween (well, a cute girl version of Banjo, not like full on fursuit), got a cartoony looking blue backpack and stitched together my own Kazooie to put in it. And then I cut out my own big Jiggy and spraypainted it gold. It was pretty amazing actually. Sad thing was not that many people I talked to knew the game that well. lol. I would have screamed if I saw someone walking down the street as them before I did it. And would have demanded that we be friends.

Of course I also loved Banjo Tooie. If any fans didn't know, some of the makers of Banjo Kazooie reunited and are releasing a game called Yooka-Laylee which they released a preview of today. I didn't really read into this much apparently because I thought the characters were going to be Banjo and Kazooie! But apparently they didn't have the rights to that of course. *sobbing*

Anyway, you can see them here.

Kickstarter goes up tomorrow and it'll be released if it's fully funded.

So, any fans? Thoughts?

I absolutely love BK! One of my favorite games from when I was younger.

I've been following the successor on and off, but I know for sure if/when it gets released I'll be buying it! Finally, a BAT. There are not enough platformers out there, and not enough playable bats.

Banjo Kazooie was one of my favourites when I was a kid, the level designs were awesome and there was just so much stuff to do, it was a right bobby dazzler! I'd love to play it again someday but first I'd need something to actually play it on. :P

Yay! I hope this is just as fun. I hope it gets funded too. Some people think it'll only take 3 days to get funded. I do like bats. Not so much chameleons or whatever though.

Grant Kirkhope posted a sample of the music and it sounds just like BK! Just a bit different but veryyyy much the same type.

I liked it when they jumped, Banjo made a kinda "ga hunk" noise and Kazooie did a kinda "breee- gulll"  so cute.

Aww, yeah! I wish we could get new stuff with them that's good. I like many others didn't care for nuts and bolts. The humor of this game was so funny like with Gruntilda (a lot of people hated her popping up and screeching, I thought it was pretty funny). I'm sure this will win me over. Platformers are super fun to me.

I loved Banjo Kazooie!  Sadly never finished the game (and never started Banjo Twooie because I was determined to finish the original first).  I still have my old Nintendo 64 but no TV to hook it up to, otherwise I would get back to playing.  It was such a fun game!

Loved, loved, loved that game!! I always played way too long and made myself sick, but the humor was hilarious!

I replay every several years. :) I just moved state but couldn't find my n64 to bring otherwise I'd start it up again now :(. And the last battle on Kazooie was super hard! I didn't beat it til I was an adult (my older sister did when we were kids and it took forever). Which is funny because it's so easy as an adult. I didn't play Tooie til I was older either, for some reason it was a little too different for me and I rejected it. Although I don't like it as much it was still a lot of fun. It'd be fun to replay since I don't remember it all in detail like I do Kazooie.

A while after the last time I played it (2012) I had a dream I was falling through Cloud Cuckooland from Banjo Tooie. Such an odd dream.

Servin up some nostalgia now.

My favorite level overall was Click Clock Wood. Something so pretty and cool about going to a place with 4 portals to the same land but in each season.

I am not afraid to admit that even after all these years, I still refuse to swim in the waters of Treasure Trove Cove, and am scared of Minjos (Banjo Tooie enemy).
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

I know, I can't take that shark either. LOL. It freaked me out as a kid and even as an adult it sometimes happens but I jump like crazy and freak out trying to get away from the shark and get to shore or a floating crate.

I also REALLY HATE any game that has diving missions with limited air supply. Like in this one going down and looping through the key 3 times, pretty dang hard and as a kid I'd drown soooo much. And it freaks me out.

Omg yes! Yes I love banjo kazooie , tooie and the very short one that was for GBA.

I still have my N64 evey now and then I'll go back and try to beat my best times for completing worlds

I'm excited about the news that's buzzing around about possible reboots and  then the spiritual successer to the games as well.
Can't wait for all this cool stuff.
BK was my childhood
