I know, I can't take that shark either. LOL. It freaked me out as a kid and even as an adult it sometimes happens but I jump like crazy and freak out trying to get away from the shark and get to shore or a floating crate.

I also REALLY HATE any game that has diving missions with limited air supply. Like in this one going down and looping through the key 3 times, pretty dang hard and as a kid I'd drown soooo much. And it freaks me out.
THIS!! I can't watch movies with underwater scenes because I start to hyperventilate (I also can't go to aquariums for the same reason), and Treasure Trove Cove and the one with Clanky (the giant fish in the murky water, that's his name, right?) would get me so upset.

Me. Although I've never completed any of the games and I'm not as into it as other series, I do like it, and it does give me nostalgia. I know others who like it a lot more than me.

I totally loved these games!  Why has it not been rereleased for the DS?! D:

*FLAILS VIOLENTLY*

My cousins! Banjo Tooie was the first game I have ever played, actually. I got all the way up to Witchy World.....until I turned 16, and finished the game.
It's still one of my faves. Next to Conker, of course!  :silly:

I'm actually really thrilled about Yooka-Laylee. I'm very curious as to how it will turn out!

Oh, and @elvenwine26
That is not possible because Nintendo owns the DS, not Microsoft.

Oh gosh, my boyfriend gave me so much flak (in a good/playful way) when I made him play BK (and later Tooie) for the very first time two years ago and made him do the water-involved Jiggys/paths in Treasure Trove Cove. I had to explain that when I was a kid back then, I was chased by Snackers (i think that is his "official" name) the shark and when I got to a crate, I watched him slowly disssolve/fade away while (it looked like) he was looking right at me. It freaked me out so bad as a kid. He understood afterwards, but still pokes fun at me about it now and then. ^^
[He really enjoyed playing both games. I was SO surprised that he had never played them before, but has played a bunch of other N64 games.]

Aww I like Clanker - he is a nice shark who just wants some fresh water/air and someone to help with his toothache. xD But I totally understand why you don't like him and TTC.

Also forgot to mention that Banjo's drowning animation freaks me out, too! Almost as bad as Snackers does.

I totally loved these games!  Why has it not been rereleased for the DS?! D:
Because Microsoft nows owns the rights to the Banjo series. (Hence why you can actually buy the original two games on the Xbox Live shop, but the N64-specific references were cut or changed out)
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

Haha, yes! Though I never ended up playing the sequels. :/ I thought I had heard that a new game was coming out, but I thought it would feature the same characters, too. :( Oh well, I guess.

I loved Banjo Kazooie and the Tooie even more!  I actually recently downloaded them to play on the xbox- because they are so old they are super cheap :D

I didn't love the one where they drove around in a cart so much though... it was too hard for me!

You mean the Canary Mary challenges?
That was the one, especially the Cloud Cucckooland version, where you had to have really good button mashing skills or seriously cheat with a spoon/ turbo controller to win. D:
One of the few times I've actually seen gamers tell each other "It's okay to cheat to get/do that", even back then.  xD
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

Omg I'm not even sure I ever finished one of the canary Mary ones. What a hideous character and hard task! For a while I think it was the only thing I could not complete in Tooie.

haha I remember the shark slowly disappearing too. None of that bothered me as much as swimming so far down below clanker and trying to do those loops and not being able to get bubbles or get back up before I drowned. lol. It was distressing. Those tasks always panicked me.

Omg can we talk about how badly we wanted to get that mysterious ice key we had to wait for Tooie for that turned out to be almost nothing. I tried for so long to get to that key.

yook a laylee  looks amazing so far.

In the original BK.  Fave world? It's hard to choose just one  bubble gloop Swamp and click clock woods are both heaps of fun.

I do have one world that I strongly dis like ..  rusty bucket bay.   That world is very fiddily to collect all the things in one play thru all the moving parts inside the ship are so frustrating! .

Now that I think about it I do have a favorite world.
....
The name escapes me.  It's the 2nd world the beach one.
