I sent an email to customer support to see if there are still plans for the robotic version. I'll have to wait a while to purchase anyway, as I have one layaway just started and another in my near future. So I am holding out for a robotic doll lol. Hopefully it's in the next couple of years. Otherwise I might cave and order a manual version. She's so gorgeous!

Thanks for the answers! So she's close to what I'd assumed but it's always so hard to tell when basing guesses off of pictures. I so want a Mirai someday but I know if I get one I'll be saving for a while. Please keep up the pictures since Smart Dolls are so pretty and I'll never get tired of looking at them.

I will totally get a Mirai at some point ^-^. She is so so pretty . And I love the outfits you can get for these girls as well. I have never liked Dollfie Dreams, but these dolls I love.

There is currently no wait time between reserving your Smartdoll and ordering. I went to reserve Mirai today in hopes that I could be placing my order right around my birthday next week.

ETA:  I had emailed to see if they were still working on the automated doll and finally got a response.  Seems like it's still going to be quite a while before she's available.

  And I figured that it was going to be a minute before we see the automated doll available to the public. It was the biggest reason that I went ahead and ordered the manual version. I am also thinking about Kizuna for maybe next year. My thoughts were that once the automated doll comes unto the market I might sell my manual dolls... Or so I say. I tend to get attached.

  Honestly, though what I am hope, hope, hoping is that once the automated dolls become available smart doll owners who want automated dolls can send their manual dolls back to Smart Doll to have the mechanics installed, thus still keeping their dolls, just having them 'upgraded' if you will.

So who knows when it will be ready.  That's ok though, as I have other dolly purchases in progress or upcoming.    I'll worry about those until the robotic ones are available.
