That is so neat!

Thanks PKW. When I'm done headbutting the wall, I think I'll try headbutting whoever made the production decisions on that set in 1991 *sigh*. I need to rewrite my wantlist, and it's getting longer by the minute.

She is so pretty like that! Awesome find in your own collection!

The only somewhat similar story I have is that, before I really started to follow pony pricing/rarity, I brought my Red Roses to a college art class as my "still life object" to draw. She could have gotten into real trouble in the art classroom! Thankfully, she only got a bit of charcoal dust on her (easily wiped off) and is good as new on my shelf now. When I realized a couple years later that she was a more sought after pony I panicked a little at the damage I could have done (ya know, art rooms contain things like paint, permanent ink, stuff like that)!

Oh, there was the O.o moment I had at the Toy Fair some several years back. Some guy there had a bunch of MLP on his table, and they were all common but in lovely condition - he was asking £3-£5 apiece for them ($5-8?) but it was Sunlight, CJ, etc...

Under the table he had a box of not so perfect ponies which he was selling at 30p (50 cents) each.

In this box was this pony....

It's not quite the same as finding one in my collection, but finding it in his box of junk ponies was a bit of a surprise because I had Strawberry Fair as a kid, and I knew what she SHOULD look like, but at that time I didn't know about Spanish Strawberry Fair, only the Brazilian walking pose one, and so I kinda just stared at her with a "huh?" expression on my face. Sort of like when you have a dream of finding ponies that don't really exist at a fair or something - that was one of those moments for me xD. I knew she was real, and I knew she wasn't Brazilian, but that was about it xD. I dun even know if she's rare or if she's one of the more common Spanish ponies - for 30p, I wasn't leaving her behind :D

*headdesk*. Is the stripe in her hair supposed to be the red orange color like tuneful's hair color, or a neon orange color? The wiki says red, but mine has orange and it looks like yours is orange, too.

Mine is definitely what I would call orange. I don't have a Tuneful to compare it to, though. (or maybe I do! I have no idea anymore  :P)

I just compared the streak in my Blue Hair Pretty Beat and Purple Hair Pretty Beat to Tuneful. The Blue Hair one is a shade lighter and the other a shade darker than my childhood Tuneful :-/. I am fairly sure that there are hair shade variations on Tuneful, though, depending on whether she was rooted with curly or straight hair...

My purple haired one looks more "red" though, the other looks more "orange" :-/. I think it's subjective.

Mine is orange orange, like an orange color crayon, where my tuneful has more of a red orange hair color? If you want I'll take a pic when I get home

Tuneful has 2 different versions...with 2 different hair colours. Is that whats causing the confusion?

Yes, I think so. Yay for Hasbro's 1991 ponies.
