I hope you find her soon!

Yup it was mine. I was edging on a pukifee idea. The only doll I've ever regretted selling and still miss is my Ante.

I need advice. T_T

Do I buy the Iplehouse Panther or should I wait?

Pros: Big enough to a be friggin' awesome and a good pet for WoW style dolly cosplay.
Cons: Some of it's jointing looks wonky and I'm afraid modding it will show.

Guide me with your wisdom pony doll friends. T_T

Hummm, I would go for it but leave it unmodded, as I am pretty sure modding would show in that resin color. Then again I am not a cat person and to me it looks rather fine. ^^;

If modding showed, maybe just paint it to hide that?

And maybe you'll like the joints more in person than in the photos, so it might be moot.  :)

That panther is amazing!  I've never modded a doll but I assume it will be cast in black resin.  Wouldn't that be less likely to show?  I suppose it could have some marbling under the top coat.  That would be a bummer.

I put my 4 dolls together for the first time in ages and I'm sorry to say that I'm not feeling the love I once had for my 2 bigger ones. Not sure what it is, maybe I just need to change a few things like wigs or clothes...

What do you guys do if you're not happy with your dolls, do you sell them or try to make them better?

I'm horrible at not bonding with a doll. Most times when that happens they move on to other people that will love them. I personal don't have the space to figure out if I can bond with them or not so they move on.

Good Luck figuring out.

I usually try to figure out a way to make them work for me, but if it doesn't work it's probably best to sell.

I used to pride myself on the whole "I've never sold a doll" thing, but honestly that just meant that I'd been hanging on to dolls that I didn't really enjoy (and for years in some cases - just this past week I started putting up listings for some dolls that I haven't done anything with for five years), and that's was just silly of me.

In any case, good luck figuring it out!  :)

I'm not the best person to ask lol. I sell them. To me it's a waste of valuable space to have a doll I don't care for. I tend to be ruthless though.

Yep, I usually give them a while and then move them on. I usually find that the new owner manages to find the perfect look for them that I couldn't :)

So if I did end up selling them, where's the best place to advertise? I know that most of you only buy smaller dolls and the 1/3 dolls are too big, so there maybe not much point in advertising on here. Also I live in New Zealand so it has to be somewhere that allows international sellers. I don't think eBay would be good as I haven't seen any sold SD or DD Volks dolls.

Maybe the Den of Angels site?
