The battle of the rainbows!

Year two.  It says "rainbow" and not "we picked four random colors out of a hat" like G3 does.

That made me chuckle a bit. lol

Me too. This is a really good point. Having said that, I really do love all of them. I picked year 2 because... well, Parasol.

I love both but yers 2 are the first ones and also the ones I had as a child so they have my heart.

 I guess I'm just more emotionally tied with year two so that's where my vote went. Seeing Moonstone brought back a lot of memories. Always called her Saturn as a kid because of her planetary symbol till I knew her real name.

I would like to put this out there... my entire set of Year 3's are afflicted with age spots... some of them real bad, but my Year 2's barely anything... anyone else notice this with their ponies?

Alas, it's a thing. I love allllllll rainbow ponies, but the Year 2 rainbows sure aged better than Year 3.

Can I choose... Year 5 German Rainbows? If no, I'll go for Year 3, because Confetti and Tickle are just darling. I like the ideas behind the Y2s but just feel they're kind of lacking, I adore Sternanglanz over Starshine, Himmelstänzer over Skydancer, etc. I think it's in the poses, Firefly pose doesn't appeal to me as much as others.

ok I do love all the others and of course I love Year 2  but as a decision should be taken , I follow my heart

My vote of for Year 3 ^^. In Spain we only got Parasol and Moonstone from the Year 2 ponies, so I never knew of the others until I started collecting again as an adult.
