so happy to find the MLP Arena!

Hi!  I'm so happy to have found the MLP Arena!  I am a 35 year old woman in PA, and Friendship is Magic has brought me so much joy!  I had a few My Little Ponies as a child and loved them very much.  I don't have any children of my own, but I'm a soon to be step-mom of two teenage boys.  So I really don't have anyone to share my love of MLP with, which is why I'm looking forward to meeting other pony fans on this forum.

Last year I was injured in a car accident and also discovered I have an auto immune disease, so it was a rough year.   I had to take time off from grad school and spent a lot of time in the house which I was not use to.  So that's when I discovered Friendship is Magic, and I watched all 4 seasons in a short amount of time.  It cheered me up so much and has helped me to get a lot better!   Now I have many many G4 brushables, some playsets, and minis. 

I can't wait for season 5 of FIM to come out!  I have some G1 ponies at my dad's house in the attic, so next time I visit I will dig them out and see what treasures I find!  Amazon and Ebay prices are often really high, so hopefully some people will do some trades with me on here.

So I am a ceramic artist and I have my own business doing princess parties for little girls.  I would like to find a way to do MLP parties, too...  I make all the costumes my self for the princess characters and it's great fun making little girls birthday parties extra special.

Hi Thanks!  No I haven't done any MLP ceramic art yet but I certainly have some ideas rolling around in my head... once I finally start on something MLP related in clay I will be sure to post photos!  Do you know of any MLP Ceramic art?

I grew up with the G1 ponies too and they still inspire so may happy memories in my now.  I am glad they helped you through a rough time in your life.  There is something about colourful plastic and long silky hair that is still magical - even as an adult!

Welcome, welcome! I'm new here, too. That's awesome FiM brought you so much happiness. I enjoy the show, but I will admit I've only seen the first season. I have no kids myself, and unfortunately my niece never got into MLP, though I did try to introduce her to it, she's much more interested in American Girl dolls. Would've been great to share my interest with her, but alas, it was not meant to be. Would love to see your ceramic art.
