1.) If I could buy em within the US and
2.) If there were ONE normal one X_X (like no strange gimmicks like mechanics and whatnot.) Just a plain ol G2 with regular plastic, and brushable hair

I didn't know they existed for a long time) and at first I was like meh, they look strange. But now that I'm seeing pictures of your G2s I'm realizing how cute they are and some of them have neat symbols too. I like the babies

I didn't like G2s at all at first, but they've certainly grown on me! I especially like the babies. Even though I was convincing myself that I don't need any G2s anytime soon, I was absolutely excited to find one pony in the wild! Although the seller never responded to my inquiry 

I'm really planning to get some G2s when I get more G1s and G3s which are my priority for now.

G2 is unique because I think they're quite pretty but they don't look like My Little Pony to me so I'm able to resist them. I think their eye crystal is a lovely touch and their bodies look very graceful. If I had more resources I might collect them but as it is I'm nowhere near finished collecting my current wishlist. So I think in my mind I have set G2 apart as a lovely thing for others to collect but I best not get started myself.

Collecting G2 is very addicting.  I started with one as a prize from a pony meet about 3 years ago, and now I have about 150!!  I love 'em!

Indeed !! I bought my first ones and I have planed to just buy few of them,and just have 5 or 7 of them as a small sample of the Gen 2 in my Collection but here we are 3 years later  ,sure I got my sample and I loved it and now there are 5 or 7 but of each one of them LOL
a complete collection of G2 never crossed my mind 3 years ago for sure.
Now if possible I will have them MOC as well.

Whether they be original G1 seaponies, Fancy Mermaid Ponies, or G3.5 merponies, how can you appreciate these underwater cuties this month? Personally, I've always loved the seaponies, but the newer merponies never caught my interest. Maybe now is the time to rescue one.

I came from a g4 perspective and love seeing how far and where the roots of the MLP franchise has came from. I own a pony of every gen except g2 besides the McDonalds toys. maybe one day when I get the money!
