I wish I had the patience to learn how to customize, mlp4me! It sounds like a great way to give grungy ponies (especially rusty BBEs) new lives.

Anyone else struggling to make positive comments about ponies you dislike? I'm trying to be more kind toward G4s...I admit I'm not a fan of the recent releases, but maybe if I see one in a thrift store I'll pick her up.

I think I can reign in any negative comments about gens I'm not a big fan of, so I'll join the challenge.

Saw a MIB Funko Celestia in a second-hand bookstore today...would have gotten her but for the fact that she was $18.

I already had three books in hand and not enough cash...oh well. I'll be going to a toy fair this Sunday and probably find some girls there.

Switching things up a few days early...

March is G3.5 Appreciation Month!

Now, some of you may find them cute, but I think the general reaction when G3.5 was released was somewhat negative. I know I certainly wasn't too enamored by that change in MLP! How can you love a G3.5 this month?

I have a couple of 3.5 ponies from thrifting, but they're just chunked in the bait box even though they're nor really baity. I'll get them out and give them some spa time, then put them on the shelf.

I have plenty of G3.5s. They're far from my favorite but they grew on me a bit; the great thing about them is how thick their hair is! I was actually really excited to find Pinkie Pie's mom at a thrift shop a little while ago.

The only 3.5's I have are just McDonald's figures. I like having them in my collection so I can say that I have a representation of every pony generation. I also like them enough to keep them, too. In fact I wish I had a full-sized 3.5.

In general I really um...dislike G3.5 but hey look at this one. She's pretty cute.
I might actually get her if I saw her for a good price or at a thrift store.

I found a 3.5 Scootaloo on Saturday! First 3.5 I have in my collection that's not a Happy Meal toy. I'm glad I found one. as it's nice having at least one regular 3.5 doll.

Hi everyone! I haven't been on the Arena too much lately, but I have returned to freshen up our challenge...
April is G2 Appreciation Month!

Now, some of us have grown to appreciate G2s over time, but I understand that still not everyone cares for them. How about looking past those "giraffe necks" this month and try appreciating their elegant poses and all the work that designers put into them?

If you already love G2s or whatever topic I choose for the month, challenge yourself to be more all-around positive about ALL of MLP, not just your favorite generations or pony types.

Aww, I rarely say unkind things about any ponies. I usually say that G2s are my least favorite gen, but that's only because I'm being forced to put them in order and I have fewer G2s than any others. I also used to really not like G3.5s (like a lot of people), but when I got my first one out of the box I really clicked with her! Even though they look odd, they're mostly actually pretty high quality.

I did once say something on Instagram about G2s being my least fave gen, and my best friend saw that and called me to tell me that she had gotten me a G2 for my birthday and she was so sorry! I told her not to worry -- all ponies are my favorites! Some I just like a little more than others.

AHHH G2 Appreciation Month

Love this Generation, Just completed few days ago

(the loose ones,still hunting some 20 something mocs )

Here are some of my Favorite G2's ,yep armies of most of them

one of each is just not enough

so don't hate me for hoarding these beauties

I wouldn't mind owning a G2 if
1.) If I could buy em within the US and
2.) If there were ONE normal one X_X (like no strange gimmicks like mechanics and whatnot.) Just a plain ol G2 with regular plastic, and brushable hair
