2015 MN Pony Meet: September 5th in Bloomington! (FIRST PAGE INFO UPDATED 9/4!)

Something closer to Shakopee would be awesome so that I can be there.  I was bummed when I couldn't make it last time due to the distance.  The problem is I can't think of any place to host a pony get together.  My apartment complex I moved into has a better party room with kitchen and bathroom, but the problem would be size and only a few tables available.  I hope we can come up with something awesome.

Also if we are still putting in votes for dates I think the 5th of September it seems like the best weekend.  I plan to be at Furry Migration too so I do want to miss that.

Last year the meet was in Burnsville, just 10 minutes from Shakopee, so, pretty close? Perhaps it was a scheduling conflict that was the problem last year? Thankfully, Bloomington is more or less just across the river from Shakopee, so much luck this year too!

Also, September 5th has been decided. Time to put it on our calendars!

I've never been to one of these shindigs, so I'm pretty eager, though also somewhat anxious.  Bit of a shy gal, but y'all make it sound pretty fun!

We would love to have you ponycentric!  Hope to see you then. 

Now that it's warmed up a little outside, I'll take some quick pics of the backyard area and post them tomorrow to give everyone an idea of what kind of outdoor space we have to work with.  I'm planning on renting a canopy or two as well, in case of rain.    

Not to say I don't have space inside the house - I certainly do!  I just think it'd be a great opportunity to utilize our fairly expansive outdoor area as well.

Sounds like it'll be a nice setup Silver Glade! I guess this is the point where I should mention my awful allergies just in case indoor areas are utilized. I'm allergic to everything with fur or feathers, horse and cat being the worst.  Actually, I'm allergic to trees, grass, and flowers too, but those are harder to avoid.

I shall need to decide if I'm going to MFM or the pony meet. (Nothing for MFM had been paid for yet, so should have plenty of time to decide. )

I'm so excited for the meet up.  I have a bunch of stuff I am trying to sell and I like the idea of doing it locally since shipping is such a pain.  So do we have a place yet or do we have just a day planned?  I wanted to make sure so I could be ready.  I can't wait.

My sister and I discussed it, and since we're no longer able to attend the Fair, we're skipping the con in MS and coming to the Meet instead! I shall see everyone there!
