Unpopular pony opinions!

I adore G2.

I don't know that I dislike FiM, it's more that it just... doesn't interest me at all. I find the main 6 really boring..

I prefer the term "cutie mark" to symbol (seems to be unpopular here).

I also prefer the idea of a pony not beginning with one, but getting one when they "realize" it.

"Pillow Talk" is a cute name for a pony, and it doesn't mean to me what it seems to mean for everyone else.

"The Mysterious Mare Do Well" was actually pretty good (though still flawed in places).

The "fact" that Merriweather's MLP:FIM episodes contain "ponies acting mean for no reason" is greatly exaggerated.

I have other unpopular opinions, but they'd probably be more at home on a brony forum as they are unpopular around bronies, but might not be here (e.g. the fact that I love G3 might not seem a big deal here, but it would be unpopular on some brony sites).

I agree with many of the opinions already expressed: I love Moondancer and Sunbeam and their pose (but only on them, I don't care for it on Sugar Sweet), I love Tootsie, I love love love love love the Collector Pose!

A few more unpopular opinions:

I think MLP "jumped the shark" in Year 5 (inches toward the exit . . .). It's not that there aren't some good ponies after that, and much for OTHER people to love, but I think the line (at least the G1 line) lost something at that point. This is when Hasbro started to have some amnesia . . . another pony named Twilight? A Big Brother Salty and baby sea pony Salty? Baby ponies of a different breed than the mom? You start to lose any sense of characters and there's more of a feeling of ponies just coming out of the Random Hasbro Pony Generator (She glows! She dances! She smells!)

Also . . . I don't much like ponies with curly hair. It looks pretty, but you can't really brush it without messing it up. MLPs are grooming toys!!!

I really like the bbes and the tootsie pose. I seem to go for unpopular poses. On the contrary. I like most ponies. Even the bushy brow princesses. I think most ponies are very unique and special. That is why I like them all.

I don't like babies or sea ponies at all...I find them creepy and...I don't like Big Brothers or any of the male ponies, I have two of them because they came in a lot so they are still boxed.
And to say something positive I love the Collectors Pose and Sunbeam

1) I DO like G4 -  on this board, that opinion is I think not super popular
2) I think the Equestria Girls are cute - (that is DEFINITELY a very minority opinion)

Okay, here is the most dangerous opinion of them all..

3) I think that it is totally fine when people bait and make custom ponies from G1 ponies-  even if those ponies only have a few things wrong with them and even if... they are Big Brothers! *GASP*

I dislike Perfume Puff hair. I don't get the craze. As a naturally curly haired person I've always wanted straight hair and I love to brush my ponies' hair. You can't brush Perfume Puff hair!

And I love love love tinsel. Sure it can be unruly, but the way it sparkles.... *sigh*

I don't like any of the G3 baby poses even though some of them have such pretty colors. Their legs are tree trunks!

It's not too surprising though, it seems like the collecting community isn't fond of G4 for all the right reasons (lack of different characters, poor quality toys, among other things) but I love G4.  I always will.
