South African dealer here to learn :)
« on: December 22, 2014, 06:21:05 AM »
Hello
I'm a vintage dealer in Cape Town South Africa. I have my own small collection of mlp g1. I kept a handful of my own from when I was growing up in the eighties and then have bought a few to add, I've given these all to my daughter now, she's 4, her names Frankie.

Anyway I came across a few valuable ponies in our collection and was wondering if anyone could help shed some light on the value of them. I didn't even know that SA ponies were so rare.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the Arena, the best place to learn about your ponies is to post some photos of them in the Nirvana forum.  Best of luck and do not be so fast to sell em, they will be super hard to replace.

Yes as Diamond said, pictures of the ponies you want price checks on as they may be South African ponies
and the Nirvana forum is the best place to post this.

Welcome and I know how you feel.  I too was blown away of what some of my childhood Pony's held of value.

Hello, Deerhunter! Welcome to the arena!

South African ponies, in my opinion, are some of the most unique nirvanas. They're quite sought after and worth a pretty penny too. Be sure to post them in the nirvana forum and get some info and a PC! Enjoy the forums!

Hi and welcome

I would agree to think very hard about parting with your childhood ponies!  Mine are the most prized in my collection (even though they are worth very little in monetary terms!).  I hope you enjoy the forums :frolic:
