I used to browse these forums yeeeaaars ago, but it looks like things may have been revamped since I was here last!  I look forward to getting to know everyone and participating.  Mainly I am joining in now because I've been feeling a little on the outskirts with all things pony since bronies became a big thing - I have nothing against respectful, genuinely good people who happen to also be bronies, but I don't personally identify as a brony, and it gets a bit frustrating when everyone thinks that's what I am.

Anyway, I'm a lifelong pony fan and a collector - mostly G1, but I also have a lot of G3 and G4 has really grown on me since I started watching the show.  I never had any G2 as a kid, and I still don't have any. Wouldn't be opposed to collecting G2, but as rarely as I see G1 at shops and yard sales anymore, I see G2 even less! 

And about me?  I'm on the last leg of my 20s, living in Texas (for now), and studying forensics.  Apart from ponies, my interests include:  anthropology/archaeology (I have a BA in Anthropology), science fiction/fantasy (novels and films), gaming, Pokemon, D&D, reading (of course!), and genealogy.

I'm the exact same way about the brony / pony fan issue. Thankfully I found a nice home here at the arena, hopefully you will too! Forensics is a really cool field of study and hooray for fellow Texas collectors! Enjoy the forums!
