Ooh this was a very nice thread to read through! Very nice advice from everyone, and I'd have to agree on most of the stuff!
When I started collecting I also bought some smaller lots with 4-7 ponies. Some of those I sold later, not liking them as much, and then buying more with that money ^^ I also went to fleamarkets a lot, and sometimes found great things! I also added a 'wanting to buy' ad on a local facebook group where they sell/buy stuff, and I got some pretty nice deals through there too (like a bag of ponies in exchange for a pack of coffee!)! So always good to ask anywhere you know! Yayy. And then it just takes off from there

Thank you for the compliments! I feel pretty darned pleased with myself after the weekend shopping.
Moomargh: I´ve already added "want" adds on Facebook, but no reply so far. However, at one of the thrift shops I visited yesterday I asked the owner for ponies and he said he thought he had a box of ponies stuffed away somewhere. I´m supposed to call him in a few days. Hopefully, there can be something nice to be found there.

And yes for the facebook ads I also had to wait a long time before anyone contacted me, but just have to be patient, there's always some old ponies hidden somewhere! Heheee.

Haha, the small Fluttershy is a McD toy, but the other four were G1 :-) But since Fluttershy´s my favorite G4 I couldn´t leave her behind.
