Funko Princess Luna & Celestia pre-order @ Hot Topic! Arriving November

Like I said, I don't know how true that is. Just sharing what I read. I know my neighbor (a manager at a local HT) said he doesn't think they'll be getting Luna, and he's usually spot on with when they get shipments to the store.

But it's strange that we got Celestia, the POP Celestia and Discord and absolutely no Luna. I don't get how she can be in stock on the site but no where to be found around here.

I don't understand how this all works though, so I'll just sit back and hope Luna appears within the next month. If not, then we'll know something is wrong...

It's possible they were just waiting on more stock to come in and they would be on the way to the stores, but according to the distribution center the stock is 0 meaning they haven't shipped them and I'm not sure if they will or not this has never happened before. Although I do remember Daring Do getting shipped later than the other two ponies last time.

Can't wait to see the next wave of ponies, need more boys!

Quick question about the Metalic RD, is her paintjob any good? I've seen some pics where the hair colour doesn't quite cover it all and silver peaks through?

And if anyone wants a chuckle. I saw an online store selling the Target Exclusive Black RD (a AU/UK gaming store, not Target lol) for over $35. Hahahaha no.

Also, how long is the Hot Topic exclusive selling period? We just got AJ & Big Mac down here. I'm waiting for Rarity and was wondering how long I can expect to wait for Celestia on top of that... if she even makes it down here with all the insanity!

I believe it was 6 months in the past, but I haven't seen Twilight/Trixie pop up anywhere other than HT.  Same with Rarity/Daring/Discord.

Luckily PopCultcha has all previous waves in stock, right back to Rainbow Dash they have them all, so it's just a waiting game and hoping that they continue to stock them in future after Hot Topic has given everyone the run around with their exclusive selling period.

I wish you all luck in finding your ponies through this insanity.

How are you searching?  When I search for "Luna" or "Princess Luna" or even "Funko Pony" she doesn't come up.

Don't use the search, just click on the My Little Pony icon on their homepage.  She's a few rows down but definitely there.

A Google Search (Luna Funko Hot Topic) usually will find the product page for you regardless of stock, too!

I have 8 hot topics in my area.  One of them got Luna's last week.  So yes I think stores will eventually get them   I hope, I still need a glitter!

Happy to report I FINALLY got my Luna and Celestia figures. I asked the manager how many figures they got in- she told me very few Lunas (gone almost immediately) and no Celestias. I was hoping to check for glitters but that's kinda impossible when they don't have either in stock. Their Funko selection was pretty bad too but I'm assuming they're cleaned out from the holidays, so I'll just check back from time to time.

I did have one disappointment though- my Luna's horn was bent. :\ At this point I'm too frustrated by this whole thing to argue with them about it and there seems to be a shortage of the figures as it is so I'll leave it be. Just a word to those still looking for Luna, she can have a bent horn and it's near impossible to tell while she's still in the package.

I know I'm really really wary of ordering anything from HT at this point. I know the strike wasn't their fault, but the terrible customer service was. Good luck to those still searching!

I had a nightmare that Funko started making crazy Limited Editon/OC ponies (both regular & glitter chase!)...and they were all exclusive to McDonald's, because they thought selling at McD's would be better than HT...and, while ordering food, I saw they had Sailor Moon-themed ponies...and 10 different Wonderbolts in various poses...but the customer service was awful & none of the employees knew how to answer questions...and when I said I wanted the Glitter Queen Metalia Sailor Moon pony, the McD's worker just stared at me...and it was *right there*, but she just didn't understand and started taking drive-thru orders.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I THINK ABOUT ORDERING FROM HOT TOPIC NOW!

LoL, I was considering placing an order for 4 Lunas, went to bed, and my brain went crazy.
