This is definitely the pride of my collection. I had the Euro release of the Show Stable as a child, and I loved it. Unfortunately for the adult collector me, much of my love involved things like modifying it (I painted the roof blue, I glued a wash cloth on the floor as a carpet, I recoloured the stickers....), and it was also always on display in my room, so it yellowed quite badly.
When I discovered MLP communities online, I tried researching the Show Stable hoping to be able to get an upgrade for my collection. But back then, sites like Dream Valley had
no information on the Euro release at all. So I ended up being very confused and frustrated that the closest I could find to 'my' Show Stable was the Home Sweet Home release. Which I knew was wrong, since I still had my Euro stable, complete with prominent 'Show Stable' sticker! Plus I still had (and have
) many of the original accessories like the aqua fences and shelves, so I knew Home Sweet Home definitely wasn't what I was looking for.
But then! One day I was browsing ebay.co.uk, and stumbled upon this Show Stable for sale. Not only was it the correct colours, not
only did it include all accessories and Lemon drop, not
only was it a BIN rather than an auction (I have terrible bidding luck), not
only was it un-discoloured and gorgeous... but it was also MIB!
I immediately hit 'buy' and within a week or so I had the most amazing addition to my collection I could imagine. When I eventually have a pony room, this playset will be a central display, kept open and used as a diorama instead of packed up on a shelf - I love it that much

) Just look at that hot pink roof! I'll be adding stickers to it as soon as I have time to scan the original sticker sheets to print out replicas. I'd rather keep the original stickers on their sheet for posterity

loginAnd here it is alongside my much-loved childhood stable. Soon I'm going to clean up the last of that blue paint and scrub the last of the old glue off the base. Just because I have an upgrade doesn't mean I'm going to abandon my original!
