Opening Mint in Package Ponies!

Hey everyone! So I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now 
So I recently purchased both Abra-Ca-Dabra and Pumpkin Tart (G3's) from eBay, but they're both mint in package.  I like to have my ponies out of the package so that I can display them, brush their manes and tales, etc., but they're mint in package so I don't want to ruin their current value.  Would it be BAD if I took them out of their original packages?

That's decision is ultimately up to you. Although I believe the dye from the pony's outfits bleed onto the ponies, if I remember correctly. Maybe others can confirm.

It's up to you. MIB G3 ponies aren't quite as rare as MIB G1 ponies, so I'd probably open them just for the fun of it, but it will decrease their value a bit.

If you are really concerned, you could try posting a thread offering to trade your MIB ones for loose versions. You could request that your partner pay shipping both ways to make up for the price difference between them, too. If no one is interested in trading after, say, two weeks, you can open yours feeling pretty confident that no one desperately wanted them MIB

I have a lot of G3s in my collection - some MIB, others opened.  If you are worried, maybe you could buy another pony(ies) that you like that are already opened? I hope you enjoy the forum

As most have said, G3s aren't that rare, so you wont loose much value by deboxing them. I also like sharnofshades idea. Just go with what you feel is right!

I can confirm this, my g3 pumpkin tart has black marks for her cat ears

But either way it's up to the collectors decision, and I too love brushing pony hair!
