I haven't been to the flea market lately, but I did find some cool stuff on Craigslist recently.
One lady was selling her childhood collection of ponies, which was understandably hard for her, but she needed the money for her kids. They were all in really good condition, about 60 in all, I think!! I wish I could find my pictures of the group as a whole, but my camera's memory card is wonky so I only have the pictures below. Some of them my sister and I will be selling (she bought them with me, as it wasn't a cheap lot), but others we'll be keeping, like these ponies in the picture. I've wanted a nice Bonnie Bonnets especially for a long time!

She gave me Trickles for free because when she was shipping her she realized she had marks on her non-display side. Still figuring out if I want to keep her. So hard to find a nice Trickles! But she's a very nice pony otherwise.

I made a best offer on an Ebay lot as well, and got these guys. Curly Locks didn't make it into the picture, oops. They were a well-cared for childhood lot. I love it when I get those and feel the nostalgia.
Some of these guys are currently for sale or purchased (if you want to look at my sales thread,
http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,354533.0.html). I really want to keep Cutesaurus, but I have to make sure I can afford it! I had planned to sell her to make up for much of the cost of the lot, but she was just so cute when I saw her in person, and I remembered how I love dinosaurs. I'm not sure how my accountant sister, who keeps me "monetarily grounded," will feel about my keeping her.

loginI was a bad girl and made a best offer on yet another Ebay lot, and won it. The ponies aren't in the best shape, but hopefully they'll clean up well. I had noticed that this guy was in there! He looks exactly like Quarterback when the picture's far away and there's a pony lying on top of his symbol. I still need to clean him up, and he has some thin marks on his other side, but I think he'll do pretty well.

loginOn an Ebay spree, I bought this Little Pretty baby (Prancer) for a steal. When she came I felt so guilty because for some reason the shipping on her box said $25! I didn't pay even close to that much money! I'm afraid the seller lost out. And the seller included this awesome hand-drawn picture and little star.

I actually keep her next to me every night . . . Yes, I'm just a little obsessed . . .

But I have some awesome ponies, yay!
