I'm super excited I won Hip Holly today! I'm probably paying too much for her, but she pops up so seldom that I think it'll be worth it. 

So does the first release have softer /longer fuzz?  How are they different?

Sorry, I only have a North Star currently so I can't compare her to anything :p

I think the second set of SS's (Twilight, Angel, Crumpet annnnd... humh, can't remember... Bangles!) has a shorter and denser, more velvety flocking than the first set. I don't have any of the second set ponies but that's what I've heard and seen on photos.

Yeah, my second set of so softs feel much different then the first, you're right Mirnyj!
