I get the feeling maybe they were trying to edge in on the Polly Pocket market but have kind of...missed the point. PP-sized Equestria Dolls would be pretty cool, actually... (I mean the later ones where the dolls were 3-4 inches tall, not the original tiny PP)
Idly searching for: loose, good condition G4 Blossomforth, Starbeam Twinkle, Plumsweet. TTM Celestia doll's wings Within UK or EU only, please.
Will also take in Pretty Pony Club (UK magazine) fakies.

Hm based on their websites  McDonald's website says "Next Happy Meal Toys" are "Book of Life" (movie) toys.  Current girls ones are Monster High.

Current Burger King meal are Dolphin movie toys.

The are not McDs unfortunately. There are images of them in box and I think they are going to be pushed out as the EQG equivalent to the basic playful ponies we got earlier in the year (you know the plastic bag versions of previous releases).
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Wow, I can't believe they are going to be an official release. They are so cheap looking, and I hate the molded/brushable hair mix. It's just weird.

This is embarrassing.  How Hasbro expects to compete with Monster High and Ever After High is beyond me.

At least with these it looks like they expect to compete by costing less. I imagine these are probably meant as $5 dolls where MH doesn't have any dolls that cost less than $10 but you would think someone would have the sense not to bother with a "cheap option" if they look like this.

Oh my good grief, they're even worse in the flesh as it were. What is going on with that face? Have the poor dears have an allergic reaction to something? UGGGGHHHH.

Okay, to be fair, the faces actually don't look that bad. I dare say they even look better than on the actual EQG dolls.

Everything else, however, is an absolute no-no. Like pretty much everyone else before me said, these look waaay too much like the kind of toys you'd get as a bonus with your Happy Meal at McDonalds. Not something that you'd buy in a normal toystore for a regular price.

They really look so incredibly cheap, with this molded hair, clothes and those molded shoes.

Monster High it ain't...

At this point I wish that Hasbro would just stop shooting themselves in the knee with these, and just go back to making regular ponies altogether...

These look like fakies.  Ick!  Seven dollars seems way over priced to me as well.

There are plenty of dolls on the way that look better than these. Dolls that have knee and elbow articulation, detailed fabric outfits, and intricate hair styles.   These are just a cheap version made for dollar stores.
