  It's sad to me that these dolls are even considered My Little PONY. I collect ponies, not dolls. Don't have one, won't buy one. PASS. I'll be busy completing my G1 collection.

I really wish there wasnt sooo many EQG dolls. It feels like Hasbro is so busy with the dolls they forgot about the ponies... like these new EQG characters with pony art on the boxes, I know they wont be made into ponies. :-( Toooo many EQG dolls this year and less my little PONY. Well, at least I can catch up with my EAH and zelfs when I buy all the 'pony' pony toys from this year, which im not far off xD

I know!! They're still not even close to competing with Mattel yet in terms of quality. These dolls would probably be priced at around $9.99 in Canada (if they showed up here). It isn't even a contest, I'd much rather have one EAH or MH doll than all three of these. They look pretty awful/lazy and really do resemble McDonald's toys :\

I bet they are McDonald's toys.  Brazil gets some pretty varied (and more deluxe) McDonalds toys than anyone else.

Mm. If they pop up here and they pop up cheap, I might buy 'em and keep em MIB, since the real disappointment is from the waist down. Normal EqG dolls are too expensive for me.
I get the odd feeling they'll be the exact same price as the higher quality dolls.

They seem to have standard EQG-style boxes (link in first post), though, and they're listed in the Hasbro catalog.
