Central heating here, although in my last two places we also had gas fireplaces.

We have a furnace which isnt the MOST reliable though it was replaced a few years ago. Previously we had to light our furnace every time we wanted to use it (NOT SAFE!), we also have added insulation just because we live where we do i think, but layers are important too lol

We have a forced hot air furnace that runs on oil...I second (third?) the whole oil is ridiculously expensive thing...

We keep our house right around 58-60 degrees even in the depths of winter.  No one likes to visit us LOL, but we make it work by wearing layers, using blankets and wearing slippers all the time.  Our dog is also a mini furnace LOL.

My husband, being from Australia, had a hard time getting used to New England winters! ;)  He puts his Uggs to good use in the winter though!

I sleep infinitely better when it's colder though.  So I don't mind it overall (if only we didn't have to shovel, then I really wouldn't mind!)

Aw, I also get cold super easy and it is no fun!  Currently I live in a house with a propane-fueled furnace...which was dreadfully expensive last winter so I tried to keep the thermostat down as much as possible.  It made me long for the days when I was growing up and we heated with a woodstove, the house was always super toasty, and the wood was free because we had a huge forest (a literal hundred acre wood, lol).

Also I discovered the magic of electric blankets and will never go back!

Not cold yet, fortunately. But I can tell it is coming around the corner all too soon.

I feel the cold very easily, but I'd much rather be freezing than baking hot any day of the week.
We turn on the central heating from October to February, & I have a huge fluffy throw rug over my bed. I used to sit cradling a hot water bottle whilst drawing/reading, but one day it exploded & scarred my stomach, so I won't be doing that anymore.  :drunk:

I have electric blankets and the heater in my thermostat thingy but I use it only a few times a year which is when I get ice storms. Hailing from northern US im very tolerable to the cold in fact I want to move back up north or in the mountains where it stays cold!

Oh you know, I live in Finland so we have: Underfloor heating, fireplace, air source heat pump, radiators, and of course the sauna. We are always very prepared for the winter. The cold doesn't stand a chance.

Yup, can't live without really goog heating and insulation up here... We have a geothermal heat pump with underfloor heating, a fireplace and sauna. And a minimum of 30 cm insulation everywhere, up to 50 cm under the roof. Woolly socks are a must!

We have central heating, but unfortunately, the landlord of my flatshare seems to think it's a waste of money to switch it on until there are icicles on the insides of the windows (slight exaggeration, but only slight). That's why I've also got a small electric heater that I can use to get my bedroom warm until the central heating kicks in.

I'm also a big fan of layers. When it's a bit nippy, I like wearing a long-sleeved shirt underneath my t-shirt, tucked in to keep my back warm. I hate it when my shirt rides up and my back is exposed. *shudders*

The option of wearing loads of knit socks and hiding under a pile of blankets with a huge cup of steaming hot tea is missing?  :P

If you squint your eyes just right, the "Other" option will probably say all that. :P

We have forced air. Our basement has electric baseboard heating (previous owner had the basement set up as a bedroom-scary!). It gets pretty cold here at times...

I hug the radiators. Not even slightly being sarcastic, I will sit against a radiator and just not move unless I have to. And if it's cold enough, I stay in bed (at least, I used to, but now there is a two -and-a-half year old running about, so staying in bed just isn't an option any more *sad face*)
Thank you *wyvernchick* for my lovely avvie!
