I don't know what to select?
I have a gas-powered fireplace? So I should select fireplace?

Costs loads of money. And the house never gets warm. boo. I hate this house.
But it is better then my previeuws house. It also had a gas-powered fireplace. Didnt warm the house. I soaked my dishes in the sink, and they froze. litterally.
this house is smaller so the gas-powered fireplace actually does something, but costs 33 procent of my income per month. I want to live in a warmer country.
Respect for people from norway, canada, sweden and such.

I HATE the cold, seriously cannot handle it, what makes it worse is my house is double brick so it doesn't ever really get warm. I pretty much have to go somewhere warm, lots or blankets, or suffer through it.

I'm fairly sure I'm depressed during winter. :(

We have central heating/radiators. I also wear winter clothes, but that's normal. Even though I can't stand the cold weather, its pretty warm in the house. The only complaint I have is that it's too cold for me in the early morning when the heating is off and I need to get up early. I wish we had those fancy thermostats which you can program to turn on and off at a specified time.  :cold:

Yeah we just have reverse cycle air conditioning, and heaters that run on electricity.. and we layer up and pop a doona on the bed, maybe swap the sheets for flannies if it gets really cold, lol... heated floors?! that must be some serious cold - but the tourists do say winter is pretty mild down here, and I've only ever travelled anywhere in the warmer months (for the destination country).

I'd seriously give anything to live in Brisbane,  the temperature is so much more bearable then in Adelaide.

We have radiators, but due to the cost of gas bills Mum refuses to turn them on until November. Til then, I snuggle up in my thick blankets XD

The winters here in Sweden (Scandinavia) can get pretty damn cold but I'm warm blooded so it doesn't really bother me. All homes in Sweden come with radiators and luckily mine are very new, so they all work perfectly, but to save money I use my blankets whenever I actually get cold. I also find drinking hot tea warms me up quicker and better than anything else!

I live in the Netherlands, and I am truly cold intollerant too. Especially cold and wind are terrible.
We have radiators (also most homes in NL have radiators) and I sleep on my electric blanket together with my little feetwarmer (my dog). I am going to see if I can get my windows fixed as I still have single glass, and my gasbill goes out of the roof in the winter....
