They are made by a company called gourmandise ( http://gourmandise.co.jp )

The pin is also known as a "dust plug" to go into the earphone jack on a cellphone... which is a way to add charms to phones that don't have a place for attachments.

I believe you have to make an account with amazon japan... but you should be able to get international shipping. (just google how to order from amazon japan)

Aw-  you are correct I was able to register!  And actually the price of all three worked out to only $21 USD (not including shipping).  Unfortunately, it won't let me check out. The items are not available to be shipped to my address.  Ah well...

Same here. It says international shoppers can only buy books cds and dvds or something like that, and adult products.

I have a Japanese acquaintance but I wouldn't feel right asking her to go through the trouble for me. Darn!
