I found this pic on Facebook and it isn't mine, but I think it's Giant Sundance at Dogpatch, USA!    I was at this show and I VIVIDLY remember Sundance.  I will have to see if I can find the pics my parents took.

I really truly hope you find out some more info! It wouldn't surprise me that she was a one off made for a TV advert or toy fair, or just a marketing event, and then sold on and used in a play and then as a *shudders* garden ornament. I mean the giant SHS ponies, weren't there only three of them? And there was a giant Wysteria I believe at Harrods (what happened to her?)

We need to club together and hire Jessica Fletcher...

I love this story.  You're so lucky Drusilla.  I'm guessing the woman had no idea what it would be worth but that's lucky for you as well.  I'm wondering how she got it.  Did the Sundance go up for auction?

This is such a cool story! It's so wonderful that the pony found a loving home where she'll be respected to the end of days.

no majesty. i bought the sundance from a lady having a garage sale and she bought her from somewhere in Ontario.

i do not know if we will ever know her true story
