My desktop used to have no icons at all, but these were just too cute

Oh I'm definitely a clean desktop type. A few essentials pinned in the task bar, but everything else stays tucked away in folders. I figure I can open programs from my start menu so why clutter up my pretty background pictures?   I switch them up fairly often but it's typically anime related, a pic of a pony or doll I'm hunting, or a pic I took myself that I particularly liked. Here's my current:

Mine has about 5 icons on the left side and my profile pony in the background. I wish I could trim it down.

A boss at my previous job had a super cluttered desktop. He would save EVERYTHING there haha. It worked for him, but I couldn't focus.

I can't STAND having an untidy desktop, so although I've got quite a few icons on mine, I keep them filed in neat columns and delete all the ones I don't need any more.

In my last job I had a colleague who saved just about everything to his desktop, which was covered in dozens of icons.  I could never work out how he could find anything on there

I like to keep mine as neat as possible as well, the wallpaper is a pic of my husband and I with our wedding vows. On the left of the screen I have the recycle bin, budget, 2 word documents of current arena swaps that I'm in and on the right of the screen is desktop calendar lite and my art folder. It's a widescreen so it looks like there's next to nothing on the screen lol.

Ooh, I love desktop threads My desktop is super cluttered, haha, I rarely see it though so it doesn't bother me. I'd post a screenshot but it's a little inappropriate for the Arena, heh (nothing too bad, but y'know ).

My desktop is super cluttered. I'd make you tidy peoples sick.

My PC desktop is clean. Two columns on the left hand side. Though I could get it down further. The background is Abby and Conner from Primeval.

On my iPad mini the home screen has more icons. I keep moving the others to extra screens. But they keep migrating back. That background is Tinsel Korey, one of my favorite First Nations actresses.

I only save items to my desktop if I'm in the process of uploading them. Once that's done they either get filed or deleted. Keeping them there would drive me crazy.

Mines not really too messy, I have four rows shortcuts & folders on the left side and a line across the top as well. I'd post a photo but the desktop image im using isn't appropriate xD

It could use a bit of cleaning, I have all the game shortcuts in a folder on the desktop except for the ones I play frequently which I leave out and there's some folders I need to move into other folders. Aside from that there's still a lot of open space.

My school desktops are much more messy than my one at home.

Mines pretty boring, I usually choose dark/neutral themed backgrounds because I sleep in the same room, and dont always remember to turn off my monitor lol. I used to have all my game links docked on the bar but I got tired of accidentally opening them, so I moved them over. Im still getting used to having icons up there rofl.
