It's pretty sad that they have to do this, isn't it? Those are Nintendo DS cases; they're meant to hold video games!

At my TRU, there is always a load of mini Funkos / blind bags that have been ripped open.  What is the point of stealing $2 toys?

I know it's sad they have to make this, but I find it pretty funny. Videogame cases for blindbag figurines

It is pretty funny, in a kind of messed up way. Those cases are for newly released DVDs and videogames, not tiny plastic ponies!

That is pretty sad, but then people are not tough right from wrong very much anymore. I see a lot of kids running around with no adult in sight.  I am all for it.

sadly this isnt the first time I come to see this. Not the exact pic, I mean bling bags in videogame-cases :/
The shops in Hameln (germany) for example put every blind bag series (not only MLP, also Fillys, Polly Pocket, Playmobil,...) in huge cases which you had to carry to the cashier who would open it for you and then hand out one if you wanted to buy (no touching, no looking up the number, no nothing... just buy or leave). gah. Sad :/

I think it would (to an extent), but it is sad that it has come to this point when it comes to the BBs. I am surprised my Walmarts even still carry them considering a lot of the time I go to the MLP section, there are open Bags with missing ponies (or the ponies are on the bottom of the box case).

At my TRU, there is always a load of mini Funkos / blind bags that have been ripped open.  What is the point of stealing $2 toys?
What i find odd about the whole thing is that it's usually only the MLP blind bags that have been opened. I have rarely, if ever, come across an open blind bag of say LEGO or LPS ones. Just the ponies, and they are the ones you can actually "figure out" which pony is in the bag!
My TRU has been lucky since I have never come across an opened BB or FunkoMini there.
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

At the stores I 've seen, they usually do this.  Pokémon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, whatever other Blind Bag toys there are...

I never have understood the thinking that it's okay to open something like that take the toy and not pay for it. :(  I've seen it lots of time with MLP bind bags and other small toys.  I know it's stealing but why do so many people seem to think it's okay to steal something like that. Is it because it's only a few dollars?

At my Walmart there are always tons of opened blind bags.  Once, there wasn't a single pony, just a ton of opened bags and loose cards.   They haven't had blind bags out at that Walmart for a while now, so I'm wondering if they finally gave up after having 90% of their merchandise stolen every single time.  That makes me so sad because this was really the only local place to get blind bags at a fair price (some comic shops near me sell then at like $6 a blind bag... I'm not paying that for a $2 pony!), and blind bags are basically my favorite thing about G4...

It is usually not too bad here, but last time I went there were a bunch opened up and left at one place.  One of my Walmarts doesn't seem to carry blind bags anymore, but I think that is more because they had a heck of a time getting rid of their all their Wave 8 Blind bags.  They never seemed to have had too much of a problem with opened bags.
