Beachball German variant?

I bought a Beachball from a German seller a few months ago (pics 1, 2 and 3). Her body is lighter and pinkier than mine in colour and her eyes are a lilac colour instead of ice blue. I know Majesty's eyes fade from lilac to pale blue in the sun so I'm wondering if her eyes are just unfaded... The hoof stamps on her and my own are the same, made in China. 

In the last picture is my own Beachball for comparison (sorry she hasn't quite pulled herself together yet today). Mine looks darker than the German one in real life and you can see the colour difference in the eyes.  Could anyone tell me if the German one is a variant please?

I'm not aware of any proper variants from that set, so I would think it's a batch variation.

I think she looks pretty spunky so if anyone would like to buy her, let me know    I decided to keep my old one after all because I like to plait her hair.

There are no variants of the set they all have the pat pend missing as they were made after the patent was granted.

The colour difference is either due to fading/ ageing of the plastic or batch variation as ladyg has suggested

Great, many thanks for confirming that. I guess maybe they would be more likely to be left out in the sun more than other ponies so that's why I've always seen them with light blue eyes

I have almost that whole set in pat pending and non pat pending and all the non pat pending have very clear color differences then the u.s. counterparts....along with many other sets

Wait? That set has Pat Pend and non Pat Pend hoof marks? It would seem that has eluded me and my Pat Pend obsession. They must be in the cross over year as well, which seems to be later than I first thought.

Yes they are one of those weird sets with 3 versions to each pony - China with no Pat Pend, Hong Kong with no Pat Pend and Hong Kong with Pat Pend! Just to cause confusion, As others have mentioned they are not really variants just minor release differences which just show a progress of when they were manufactured rather than being anything deliberate.

However the hair on yours is amazing!!!!

I guess there are more sets than I though which have the mixed up hoof marks. Just to make things nice and confusing!
