Oh What A Surprise! My Rose Petal Place Car...

...still plays music!

I didn't know it could until I hopped on a wiki page a few mins ago.  I found one that must have come from a chop shop last week (no windshield, horn, or trunk lid).  It took a few mins and some wiggling with pliers, but I fixed the battery contact points and...viola!  "Let's Be Friends" plays when I push the steering wheel!

When I was a kid, I had Daffodil.  Oddly enough, in all of my years of collecting toys, I've never come across any Rose Petal Place dolls!

You will never guess what! I use found a Rose Petal Roadster at Goodwill today! It has the everything but doesnt play music. How did you fix it? Is the red part underneath the compartment I need to open? Because i cannot seem to get I open.

Use someting flat to pry it open on the widest side.   All it takes is a AA battery!  I had to scrspe off dried battery acid and bend a piece of metal inward so the battery had firm contact points.  Congrats on your find!
