Flea Market BaB Pinkie

I was so excited this weekend to find a Build a Bear Pinkie at our flea market! (As well as a G1 Bowtie plush)

She was super nasty. My sister and I thought her hair would be unsalvageable. She also had a few holes, like she had been reduced to a dog toy. Poor thing! My sister patched up the holes for me and removed the voicebox (Which I discovered you can open and re-record a new message...hehehe)

(This was AFTER combing through it for a while...)

I combed and conditioned her hair for a few hours and finally threw her in the wash with a batch of clothes. Once dry, we let our hair straightener do the rest

And today I finally gave her those signature curls!

I'm so happy I found her. She's found a home at last! :)

WOW! She cleaned up good! I cant get over how fast some people get rid of something so new!?  Congrats on her :)

Poor Pinkie!  It sounds like she'd had quite a rough time before you got her.

You did a great job cleaning her up!  She looks so much brighter and happier now - she looks super cute with her curls!   :)

Goodness, it is hard to recognize her as the same pony.  Her hair looks so lovely and silky.  Congrats on a cool find :D

It's actually still pretty dry... but it curled well, so I don't mind :)
