I just have her US release. I honestly like all the other versions of her better than her US version. (Ahhh, no fakie pelting please!)

I love her. She has such bold hair and is such a classic pony. The pose is a train wreck on that one Candy Candy pony (Sugar Sweet?), but it looks well enough on Sunbeam and I think really works for Moondancer!

When I was a kid I latched on to Moondancer like a neodymium magnet; she was one of the few things I ever out& out asked my parents for. They did their best, but MD had just been discontinued when I got into MLP, so I ended up having a MD plush, Baby MD, books & things w/ her on them, but no actual MD.

Probably a decade or more later my Mom & I happened to be visiting an aunt & we all walked to a family friend's home nearby to visit. The friend's daughter was about my age & we went into her room & there, atop the girl's dresser, is a lone Moondancer. I hadn't really been into ponies for years at that point but immediately gushed, "I loved this pony when I was little but never got her. She's wonderful & you're so lucky to have her!" She grabbed MD, put her in my hands & told me she was mine! It still makes me a bit misty to this day that some girl I'd never met was so kind to this goofy, shy kid who didn't realize how much she still liked that pony!

Have a couple of versions of her. She is one of those ponies I want to love more than I do...but she unfortunately is not one of my favourites.

Had her as a kid and she was one of the ones I rescued from my parents' last year. Still can't believe how well she cleaned up! She was the second glitter symbol restoration I tried, so not too bad.

I don't mind the pose, but it's not my favorite pose. But it's different in a good way.

Her baby is pretty cute too!

I want her, but she's not a high priority on my wishlist.
Her design's beautiful & I don't mind her pose, it's just that she would have looked so much prettier in Glory or Gusty's. I'm sure I'll fall in love with her when I finally see her in person though.

She was the very first pony I ever received and the queen of my childhood herd. Not in this pic is the G4 Baby Moondreamer I made for myself.

I had baby Moondancer and her mom bacame TAF Milky Way. Little did I know at the time baby MD had a mom and Milky Way had a baby! whoa. I did get MD later in life..probably a few times and have lost her again and again. have her again now and she was recently reunited with her baby whom my sister acquired for me. it was really fun having a reunion for them! especially since Mommy and baby Glory came in the lot with Moondancer! it was so fun to bring them all together again!
I don't care how old I am, I was playing with ponies not two weeks ago.

Moondancer is one of the few early G1s I don't like. I can't get past that awful pose.

haha, I like her mostly because she is the mommy to my baby. I think moondancer was one of my first babies...otherwise, I thin her eyes look strange, her hair is so bold esp in comparison to her baby and she will. not. stand. up. and it drives me bonkers!
