What was the last G1 pony that you bought new in the store?

I was just thinking this might be a fun topic. 

For me, I believe it was Teeny Tiny Pony, Little Tabby.

Oddly enough, I think I remember finding Lil' Litters Lady Labrador after that.

I am pretty sure both of these were old stock though, because it was after the end of year 10. (and I remember buying ponies from year 10)

After that, I never saw ponies again until I walked down the isle and discovered G2. I bought every G2 pony I could get my hands on!

With the G2 it was Puff or Teddy.

I am pretty sure the last one I got was UK Honeycomb  Most of my childhood ponies are older G1s!

The last pony I picked out for myself was Baby Princess Sparkle (with Buggy), but later my friend gave me Baby Ballerina Sweetsteps for my birthday.  And a few years later another friend went to Scotland and found a few things from the tail end of G1 gathering dust in a corner of a Toys R Us there.  So she brought back Nurse Loveheart, the hospital bed playset, and the Kitchen for me.  By that time I was in college and had been buying secondhand ponies from flea markets for many years, but I still consider those to be the last of my "childhood collection" because they were bought new from stores in the regular way.

1988 or 1989 at Toys R Us. Buying a pony for a friends birthday party. And my Mom let me pick one for myself.  Of course I chose the blue one for myself (blue is my favorite color). It was CocoBerry.

Newborn twins Jabber and Jebber. I remember my dad taking me into the aisle and telling me to pick out a toy. ^-^

I don't think I ever owned a brand new G1 pony except the Mexican seapony that had been brought my Grandpa. All my G1s where 2nd hand and I have recollection of who I owned owo;

Rockin beats Sweet Notes, that was the day my mum said  'aren't you too old for ponies?' I would have been about 11 I guess. Now I"m 34 & own a few hundred... needless to say Mums accepted them

yeah, I think my last ones - as I bought them all together - were some of the 7 tales ponies and 2 of the last newborns (those with the dream theme). those are the only ones I still have the back cards ;-)

I can remember. It was the first pony I ever bought all by myself from my pocket money, and also the last G1 I bought in a shop. It was Teeny Tiny Little Whiskers, and I was 9 or 10 years old.

In pretty sure my last pony to buy was either baby pineapple or a fancy mermaid baby. I remember going to this discount store here in Florida called "pharmore" and they had some ponies.. Oddly enough, some were in French Canadian packaging, which I still have.. And I have the Canadian MO pamphlets that came with them as well

I think I actually found a baby splashes fancy pants at a rite aid way after ponies were discontinued. So this is the last one I got for sure.

Ironically for me my first and last purchase of a new G1 pony was in 2009.We were travelling through Spain to start our new life in Valencia when we stopped for petrol.I saw nothing but my then 8 year old said she saw G1 ponies at the checkout....and indeed there were 2 Rockin beat ponies...sweet notes....in spanish Los rockeros, notas dulces.They were 5 euros each.Elated I bought them both.I sold one and kept one which I still have.

We were fresh off the boat so to speak and very tired so I wasnt thinking properly but I so wish I had asked if they had any more.I will never know.

To think those ponies had been hanging around in that store for so many years just waiting for me to buy them.That pony is treasured by us and I have never taken it out of its packaging.
